Thomas’s Week 2 Weigh-in
By Thomas | January 13, 2008
Here are my weigh-in scale pictures for Week 2 of the twofatbrothers.com 2008 Weight Loss Challenge.
95.1 kg translates to 209.2 lbs. That’s 2.4 lbs down from last week! If I’m doing my sums correctly, that means I’ve lost 9 lbs since the start of the year. I’m pretty happy with that. My April 1st weight goal was 205, and it looks like I’m going to get there early. If I do, then I’m going to shoot for 185 and challenge Anderson Silva for the UFC Middleweight title.
Body Fat is at 20.9%, down 1.7% from last week. I don’t know what a reasonable goal for body fat % is. Is 15% possible in 3 months?
I’ve added my week 2 body pictures. You can laugh at them here: Thomas’s pictures.
Stayed tuned for Kenny’s disappointing weigh-ins, coming within the next 24 hours.

Tommy- that’s unbelievable. Good work. I really do think that 185 is a goal you could reach sometime in 2008- MAYBE by April 1st. You just want to lose it smart, so your body knows that it should be walking around at 185 and not trying to get back up to something else. Just talking out of my ass here, but I don’t think body fat changes very much like your weight does. I think I remember doing a body fat challenge one time and the winner lost like 3% in 6 weeks or something.

@Kenny: Thanks! I don’t really think 185 is possible by April 1st, but 195 might be. My weight loss has started to level out a bit in the last few days so I don’t think I have anymore “easy weight” to lose. Week 3 will probably say a lot more about where my pace is headed than the past two weeks have. Good luck with your weigh-in!

I get a kick out of “seeing” you two go after each other, but Thomas might be correct. Early weight loss sometimes comes fast, but sustained weight loss is harder to maintain………….:)
I wish you both luck.
