I was a miserable fat ass, now I’m just a fat ass.
By Kenny | January 3, 2008
I have a confession to make. I’ve actually been losing weight since September 2007 when, at 263.8 pounds and unable to climb a short flight of stairs or play with my 3 year old daughter for more than 5 minutes without feeling like I had just run an uphill marathon with a dead yak tied around my waist, I decided it was time to make a change. Over the last 4 mos, I’ve read everything I could get my hands on regarding health, weight loss, fitness and goal setting and I’m happy to report that I’ve gone from a miserable 263.8 pounds to much more manageable 230. Though I’ve learned a lot and have experienced positive results, I still have a long way to go to get to my ‘fighting weight’ of 205.
Like a lot of people making a body transformation, (the kind that doesn’t involve making a suit from the skin of dead people), I’ve hit a plateau. But I’m determined to fight through it with the help of this blog and the competition with Tommy.
Getting started is the hardest part. I’d like to share some of my experiences up to this point as well as blog about the rest of my journey as I go for my 205 pound goal. But not right now, because I’m freaking tired so you’ll just have to wait until tomorrow.
By they way, are you about a size 16?

Matt- thanks! After Tommy’s first weigh in I’m going to need all the kudos I can get.
